Web Designer in Dunedin, Seeking Sponsorship
Hi there. My name is Danny Wood and I’m a determined and passionate web designer in Dunedin, New Zealand.
From a young age, web design has been my passion and I have shown great determination in my journey to learn about it.
For almost two years now, I have had the privilege of working as a digital nomad for Leydon Lettings. Previously working with them for two years prior to travelling, with one year being on placement from Bournemouth University.
During these four years, I have helped to create and build their brand identity, as well as dramatically increasing the companies on and offline presence. I have received nothing but praise from, Leydon Lettings, for going above and beyond expectations.
I love what I do because I get to help users reach their goals, through meticulous designs. In addition to this I get to absorb myself into the mindset of the user, where unbeknown to the them, I am able to be a guide and help make their journey and experience the best it can be.
Achievements:
- 2:1 BA Hons Degree, in Digital Media and Design (Bournemouth University).
- ‘Best web developer’ during a self-directed business week (Bournemouth University).
- Two student achievement awards (Canterbury College)
- World Skills 2009 and 2010 regional web design competitor.
Sadly my work with Leydon Lettings is coming to an end, which means it’s now time to look for a new learning adventure.
Recently, I have branched out into other areas of graphic design. But I would now like to bring these skills back to my main passion of web design.
I’m eagerly looking for a job sponsorship, ideally as a user experience (UX) designer, user interface (UI) designer or as a web designer in Dunedin, New Zealand.
